Last week we hosted our first Bridal Bellhop happy hour at CoCo Sala. Our goal was to create an event where local wedding pros could connect over delicious bites and bubbly to collaborate and grow their businesses.
We started the event with a cup of french pressed coffee, which was delicious with a few bites of chocolate! The coffee got our energy levels up just in time to welcome our first set of guests.
It was so fun connecting with the ladies from Behind The Veil, Claire Duran Weddings & Events, Favored by Yodit, and Nadia Pessoa as well as welcoming Josh from DJ G Events to his first wedding industry event.
The Cotija Cheese Empanada, Crispy Bacon Wrapped Angus Short Rib, and Spiced Crab Roll were a hit and paired perfectly with the wine and bubbly!
We loved connecting with new friends like Eat and Smile Catering, Chic Weddings, Stir DC, and Sweet Tymes just as much as we loved reconnecting with old friends like Bonnie Sen Photography, Sequoia DC, and Glam Candy Buffets!
Miloud from CoCo Sala gave private tours or their roof top, garden patio, and art gallery throughout the event, which guests were surprised to discover!
The desserts were another highlight of the night! The Latin Love Affair Parfait was a combination of dulcey chocolate mousse with cinnamon caramel and chocolate pecan cake. The mini some more creme brulee was topped with toasted marshmallow & graham crumble. SO. GOOD.
Towards the end of the night we raffled away a free membership to Bridal Bellhop. Ruth from Gonzalez J Photography was the winner! Everyone went home with a box of CoCo Sala chocolate and new contacts in the wedding industry.
